Four people have been confirmed dead and others injured in Kampala after a part of Nice Times building next to Magoba Arcade caved in.
The building is believed to have collapsed when food vendors were working in the basement.
Some of the residents wondered why KCCA has not taken initiative to remove such an old building or supervise it's renovation before putting the residents in danger.
According to the area chairperson, the building in question belongs to city mogul Sudhir Ruperalia.
The Inspector General of Police Kale Kaihura visited the scene shortly after the accident.
Nakivubo mews remains closed as Fire Brigade officers dig through the debris for any people that might have been trapped.
